Fresha is seeking a Senior Staff Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Warsaw. As a leading marketplace platform for beauty and wellness, Fresha is trusted by millions of consumers and businesses worldwide. We are looking for an exceptional engineer to contribute to our technical vision, strategy, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: This is a hands-on technical role where you will be expected to code and lead cross-team technical initiatives.
- Architectural Ownership: Take charge of the architecture for a tribe, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability across major systems.
- Guidance and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, anticipate product-level technical issues, and make architectural decisions to avoid them.
- Project Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of projects that have a tangible impact on Fresha’s success.
- Collaboration: Work closely with diverse functions within the team across Product, Design, Data, and QA.
- Continuous Learning: Facilitate continuous learning and improvement for your team.
- Communication: Communicate Fresha's technical direction internally and externally through talks and blog posts.

Interview Process
- Video Call Screening: Initial screening with a member of the Talent Team.
- Technical Interview: In-depth technical discussion with the CTO & Chief Architect.
- Technical Stage: Meeting with the Head of Data Engineering and a Backend Engineer.
- Final Interview: Discussion with the Head of Engineering / CTO / Chief Architect.
