Job Overview
As a Senior Shopify Frontend Developer at nu3 GmbH, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of the frontend components of our Shopify-based website. You will ensure the implementation of UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Your role involves working closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and the marketing team to continuously improve the website.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize frontend components for Shopify-based websites.
- Implement UI/UX designs into responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate and adjust Shopify apps and plugins.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile optimization of the website.
- Optimize website performance for fast loading times and seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and marketing team for continuous improvement.
- Implement A/B testing and other conversion rate optimization methods.
- Troubleshoot and continuously develop existing features.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in frontend development, ideally with Shopify.
- Profound knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s Template Language).
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and a keen eye for appealing design.
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git.
- Good knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and manage complex projects independently.
- Creativity, initiative, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
