Job Overview
Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for our Ads Core Services (ACS) team. This role involves building and maintaining scalable, reliable software that supports our advertising programs. You'll work on systems that handle millions of requests and process billions of events daily, contributing to the growth of our advertising business.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver software services and website stacks.
- Collaborate with teams across Amazon to enhance advertiser and customer experiences.
- Experiment and innovate in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
About the Team
The ACS team manages the lifecycle of advertiser account management, including registration and access control. We are pushing boundaries in terms of storage scale, data processing, and real-time propagation.
