As a Software Development Engineer for Amazon's Delivery Experience team, you will be responsible for services and features that provide delivery experiences that improve customers’ lives by making the Earth’s largest selection available when, where, and how they want it. Key Job Responsibilities

• Build the next generation shopping experience and systems to provide a world-class delivery experience.
• Work on a set of full-stack technologies ensuring consistent scaling of delivery information to millions of users worldwide.
• Collaborate closely with the business to design and implement new features.
• Contribute to all aspects of an agile software development life cycle including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
• Develop highly scalable, low latency, intelligent software that will have a massive impact on customers.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

A Day in the Life

You will be part of a team consisting of talented senior engineers, TPMs, and product managers who will further push you to learn and grow. Your impact is across worldwide Amazon marketplaces, supporting dozens of locales and languages.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
