Job Description
Join Amazon's Annapurna ML team as a Software Development Engineer Intern focusing on ML Chip Architecture. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge machine learning technologies and contribute to the development of Amazon's cloud computing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate large-scale machine learning workloads across algorithms, software, and hardware.
- Serve as the interface between software and hardware teams, bridging silicon capabilities and application requirements.
- Drive performance improvements on existing AWS hardware platforms and propose hardware optimizations for future products.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related fields.
- Knowledge or experience in computer architecture and silicon design.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Rust, or Python.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with machine learning applications and performance tuning on accelerators like GPUs or TPUs.
- Experience with RTL coding using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Compensation
- Hourly rate ranges from $47.84 to $96.15, depending on location and experience.
