Software Engineer 2
IntuitJoin Intuit's Platform Security Engineering Team
Intuit is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Platform Security engineering team. This team is responsible for defining, building, and driving the adoption of security best practices across the Intuit organization. We build and operate the engineering platform and infrastructure that runs all of Intuit’s products, including TurboTax and QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
- Design, Build, and Operate: You will design, build, and operate Intuit’s Cloud Resource Inventory platform, supporting internal customers from Security and Compliance to Finance. This involves leveraging technologies like Python, MongoDB, GraphQL, Serverless, and Docker.
- Collaboration: Partner with Intuit Product Development teams and the central Intuit Information Security team to ensure that security policies and standards are implemented across all Intuit products and services.
- Innovation: Provide and inspire innovations that help Intuit maintain its position as an industry leader in cybersecurity and fraud prevention.
- Issue Resolution: Ensure that security defects, issues, and incidents assigned to the team are remediated quickly and within SLA.
What You'll Bring
- Educational Background: BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience developing and operating complex distributed software systems in an enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Solid full-stack design and coding skills, including experience with Java, Python, Node.js, and REST. Hands-on experience with AWS is highly desirable.
- DevOps and Agile: Experience working in a DevOps environment and familiarity with Scrum, Agile, and iterative approaches.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to all levels of employees, customers, and management.
- Self-Starter: A "self-starter" attitude with the ability to make decisions independently.
