Intuit, a leading FinTech company, is seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join our CyberCRAFT Compliance Engineering Team. This team is responsible for developing internal security and compliance software for Intuit's cloud-hosted products. Our web-based full-stack software simplifies the process for Intuit's development teams to onboard security controls, comply with Intuit’s security policies, and demonstrate compliance to auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Engage in approximately 80% hands-on coding on an internal web-based full-stack software product, featuring a complete UI, robust APIs, and a high-performance MongoDB back-end.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage AWS, Kubernetes, and MongoDB resources that host the developed software.
• CI/CD and Automation: Design, automate, and support CI/CD stack, code pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and logging.
• Design and Architecture: Contribute to design activities, including estimates and engineering designs. Develop architectural skills to design moderate-sized microservice architectures or simple customer-facing applications.
• Code Review: Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback as a reviewer on code requests.
• Open Source Contribution: Understand open source library architecture, debug library code if needed, and contribute to the community with enhancements and fixes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Education: BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 1-2 years of software development experience in a professional setting with primary expertise in Golang and some experience in Python.
• Technical Skills: Strong experience with back-end development; full-stack software development skill set is a plus. Proficient in advanced programming concepts such as low-level processes and threads, multithreading/concurrency, data management, and memory management.
• Security and Compliance: Understanding of Security & Compliance and experience with leading the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
• Testing: Demonstrated experience with unit/functional testing, Test Driven Development (TDD), and performance testing.
• Tools and Technologies: Experience with AWS infrastructure tools and automation (infrastructure as code and operations). Familiarity with Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications

• GenAI and Prompt Engineering: Experience with GenAI and prompt engineering is required.
• AWS Security Engineering: AWS security engineering experience is a plus.

How You Will Lead

• Utilize software engineering technologies and best practices to effectively design, develop, implement, and operate security and compliance platform capabilities that enable highly secure product development and operations at a large scale.
• Contribute to decision-making during Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies.
