Job Overview
Intuit is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to join our Platform Security Engineering team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role focuses on audit data analysis and automation, with a strong emphasis on data collection and narrative preparation for leadership review. The ideal candidate will have a passion for security and software engineering, with a keen interest in Python scripting and programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Analysis: Run pre-existing scripts and applications to collect data necessary for audit narratives.
- Audit Narrative Preparation: Author audit narratives and reports using pre-existing templates and data.
- Issue Escalation: Escalate issues to relevant leaders when necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness of audit narratives.
- Policy Mapping: Map policy, control standards, and control requirements to AWS, GCP, and Azure resource types, determining the best implementation strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of narratives and reports.
- Automation Expansion: Show interest in expanding automation capabilities using Python scripting.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and techniques in automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in audit data analysis, audit automation, or a related field.
- Experience with automated data collection tools and script development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with audit processes and procedures.
- Understanding of and experience with Python scripting and GitHub is a plus.
