Software Engineer - AI Integration & Prototyping

About The Role

We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer with a strong enthusiasm for AI technologies. In this role, you will leverage both open-source and proprietary AI tools to prototype and implement new features that enhance user engagement on Highrise. While deep expertise in AI or machine learning algorithms isn't required, a keen interest in experimenting with the latest AI advancements is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prototype AI Features: Develop prototypes for features like chatbots, real-time translation, and audio communication enhancements.
• Explore AI Technologies: Stay abreast of the latest AI tools and platforms (e.g., HuggingFace) to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into our platform.
• Contribute Ideas: Participate in brainstorming sessions to suggest AI-driven improvements for user engagement.
• Implement Solutions: Turn prototypes into scalable solutions that align with Highrise's technical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Strong interest in AI technologies and a habit of following AI news and trends.
• Familiarity with platforms like HuggingFace and AI APIs.
• Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Motivated to explore and experiment with new technologies independently.
• You must be a gamer to be successful in this role. Having an in-depth knowledge of how games work is key.

Bonuses
