Position Overview
As a Software Engineer at Nava, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to rebuilding and enhancing government services to make them more efficient and accessible. You will work closely with other engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Write and implement code in Go (Golang).
- Perform local testing to ensure all development meets the acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with team members on technical specifications and design new features.
- Review and provide feedback on pull requests.
- Participate in engineering huddles and standup meetings.
- Engage in biweekly retrospectives to discuss project efficiencies.
- Interface with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Go (Golang).
- 3+ years of professional coding experience.
- Experience with both front-end and back-end web systems.
- Ability to design scalable and high-performance software architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with automated testing and modern web development frameworks.
