Job Overview
Join our IT&S Group as a Senior Frontend Engineer and play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of digital products within our Physical Operations landscape. This position is based in Budapest, Hungary, and offers a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Design front-end components and ensure seamless integration with back-end systems to facilitate smooth data exchange.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review services and components, seeking opportunities for enhancements and addressing technical debt.
- Product Roadmap: Influence and deliver the product roadmap to improve key performance indicators and deliver tangible business value.
- Team Development: Develop the team’s software engineering skills and mentor junior team members.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business users, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of product deliverables.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with the Tech Lead on the evolution of the current technology platform and the long-term strategy and roadmap.
Essential Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 to 8 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on designing, planning, implementing, maintaining, and documenting solutions.
- Proficiency in software engineering development techniques and best practices such as TDD and BDD.
- Strong capabilities in software engineering design and understanding of computational complexity.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, Angular, and NodeJS.
- Database design and knowledge of SQL Server.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
