About AdTech Tribe

The AdTech tribe is a rapidly expanding, geographically dispersed team operating in over 40 international markets from LATAM to APAC. Our primary goal is to craft cutting-edge advertising solutions tailored for the local delivery market. Our solutions enable partners to captivate and retain clients while allowing platform users to discover new culinary delights. We operate on a "we build it, we run it" ethos, with self-reliant, cross-functional squads deploying and iterating quickly using micro frontends and event-driven microservices.

About The AdTech Display Ads Team

You will be part of a team that owns a critical piece of the AdTech ecosystem, supporting and expanding our central solution for serving advertisement solutions across all Delivery Hero brands. This solution operates under a high load of requests, which must be processed with minimal latency and delivered to client-facing applications. Key aspects include scalability, observability, and recovery strategies.

Your Mission

• Collaborate with other squads in the AdTech tribe to build a future-proof platform.
• Develop solutions that help restaurants and local shops advertise their offers and attract new and retain existing clients.
• Architect and implement efficient and reusable frontend systems that drive complex web applications.
• Improve the user experience and performance of existing solutions.

What You Need to Be Successful

Your Heroic Skills:

• 5+ years of professional web application development experience.
• Experience in delivering and running SPAs in a fast-growing environment (deploy, caching, monitoring, analytics).
• Solid understanding of modern frontend architectures, state management, asynchronous/reactive programming, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React/Redux.
• Ability to write lean, semantic markup and CSS based on modern standards.
• Proficient in optimizing frontend performance.
• Experience with testing using Jest and Cypress.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with AWS and/or GCP, Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm.
• Experience with setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TravisCI, Drone, Spinnaker).
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Sentry, Datadog, Grafana, NewRelic, Prometheus, Icinga, Kibana.
• Willingness to understand backend-related logic and contribute to it.
