About the Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer specializing in Roku and Brightscript to join our dynamic team in Stockholm. You will be part of a diverse and multi-disciplined development team, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies and working on projects for industry giants like Netflix, Spotify, BBC, and HBO.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Roku/Brightscript applications, delivering state-of-the-art products.
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale, high-availability front-end applications.
- Own the related platform infrastructure, including AWS services, build pipelines, and automated testing.
- Promote a sound engineering culture through hands-on development and code reviews.
- Contribute to the improvement of application architecture and enhance engineering processes.

Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Experience with Brightscript and Roku’s SceneGraph XML.
- Experience integrating open-source or third-party APIs and libraries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technical challenges.
- Experience in video and media-based development projects (DRM, OVPs, Advertising, Analytics).
- Good command of English.
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Sweden.

This position is based in Stockholm, Sweden, with hybrid work options available.
