Job Overview
Join the Windows Hardware Lab Kit (HLK) team at Microsoft, where we are dedicated to continuously improving the quality of the Windows hardware ecosystem. Our team is responsible for delivering the infrastructure and contents to validate all devices, firmware, drivers, systems, and solutions through partner Co-Engineering engagements and Windows Certification Program. We work closely with OEMs, ODMs, IHVs, and ISVs throughout the OS development cycle and beyond, ensuring a vibrant and growing Windows hardware ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Direct contribution to multiple parts of engineering, including customer engagement, design, coding, testing, and telemetry analysis.
- Design universal test content that can run across Windows hardware platforms.
- Enhance the content deployment and execution pipeline via the cloud to accelerate our co-engineering enablement.
- Utilize telemetry data to continuously monitor ecosystem health and influence Microsoft’s future technology decisions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Industry experience with device drivers and/or firmware development and test automation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Additional technical engineering experience.
