Are you passionate about building data-intensive products, fostering a collaborative engineering culture, and working cross-functionally to execute an ambitious product roadmap? OfferFit is seeking a Software Engineering Director to join our team and work closely with our CTO and VP of Engineering. You will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing a highly scalable SaaS platform for reinforcement learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Manage and build a team of outstanding frontend and full-stack engineers working on our user-facing application. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a strong engineering culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
• Developer Experience: Improve developer experience by increasing automation, improving processes, and fostering cross-team collaboration.
• Best Practices: Lead the application of design, implementation, and software engineering best practices to create a great user experience in a cutting-edge ML product.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other teams (e.g., UI/UX, Product, Research, Implementation) to align technical capabilities with business goals and market demands.
• Technical Expertise: Apply your extensive knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and scalable frontend architecture to build a clean, reliable, and extensible UI.
• Product Vision: Contribute to product vision and strategy, aligning technical capabilities with business goals and market demands.

Tech Stack

• Web: TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue.js (v3) and its ecosystem (Vite, Pinia, VueQuery), Node.js, Strapi, PostgreSQL, HTML5, CSS3
• Data Science/Back End: Python (Pandas, Polars, Ibis, Spark), SQL, BigQuery, FastAPI (not required for this role, although experience with Python would be helpful)
• Architecture/DevOps: Kubernetes, Airflow, Terraform, GCP (not required for this role)
