AminoChain is seeking a highly skilled Staff Frontend Engineer to join our innovative team in the heart of New York City. This role is pivotal in developing user interfaces and enhancing user experience for our decentralized healthcare applications. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of trust in science and healthcare by leveraging cutting-edge technologies in blockchain and biomedical research.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate product requirements into scalable and efficient frontend solutions.
- Develop user-facing features using Next.js, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
- Implement automated testing to ensure code reliability and quality.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and best practices.
- Optimize application performance and address frontend performance bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging frontend technologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging frontend issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our frontend development processes and workflows.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience working closely with designers to implement designs.
- At least 5 years of experience in frontend web development, with a strong focus on Next.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with frameworks like Tailwind CSS and tools like Prisma.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative team spirit.
- Passion for healthcare and interest in blockchain technology is a plus.
