Job Description
As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer at Bask Health, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building the software infrastructure that supports our telehealth platform. You will work closely with the CEO and CTO to develop a robust, scalable, and compliant system that serves as the backbone of our direct-to-consumer telehealth business.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of new services through the full development cycle. Write elegant, well-tested code using a modern technology stack, including React.js, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product team to make architecture and design decisions. Participate in stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives to contribute to an engineering culture focused on delivering high-impact user experiences.
- Full-Stack Development: While your primary focus will be on the front-end, you will also engage in back-end development tasks, including working with Rust, mySQL, and Node.js.
- Innovation and Strategy: Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment. Scale and automate existing services while bringing new innovations to life. Contribute to product strategy and development.
Who We're Looking For
- Experience: A full-stack generalist with a strong focus on front-end development. Experience in taking products from concept to launch is essential.
- Skills: Proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript. Backend skills in Rust, mySQL, and Node.js are also required.
- Attributes: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment.
