About the Role
Cityblock Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our technology platform, which is utilized by various engineering and product teams. You will be responsible for building and improving the core architecture of our user-facing systems, which are used by hundreds of care providers daily.
Responsibilities
- Write and review code across the stack, including Typescript, SQL, and infrastructure.
- Develop code, processes, and frameworks to ensure industry best practices for reliable software development.
- Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code.
- Participate in maintaining compliance, data privacy, and security measures.
- Recruit and mentor engineers, fostering a diverse and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience writing production code.
- Experience with full stack development and comfort with querying and analyzing data.
- Passion for building scalable health tech solutions.
- Process-oriented mindset with experience in writing and debating design documents.
- Ability to work across the stack and troubleshoot complex problems.
