MagicSchool AI is seeking a highly skilled Staff Full Stack Engineer with a focus on AI to join our dynamic team. As a leading generative AI platform in education, we are dedicated to fighting educator burnout and creating responsible and safe AI experiences for students. Role Overview
In this role, you will leverage existing AI models to explore and research potential applications for our platform. You will not be training or creating your own AI models, but rather investigating the best uses for our open learning models and identifying other potential GPT sources. This position requires a do-whatever-it-takes attitude, an aptitude for learning new technologies, and strong emotional intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and research potential applications of AI models on our platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our products.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and apply them to enhance our platform.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as an engineer, with a preference for 10+ years.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript; Python is a plus.
- Experience in full stack development, including both front-end and back-end.
- Previous experience in a startup environment is preferred.
- Experience building products and projects using AI APIs is a plus.
