About the Role
Kpler is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing APIs, user interfaces, and data pipelines that are integral to our Supply and Demand (S&D) product. This product provides a comprehensive picture of the commodities supply value chain, which is a cornerstone of Kpler's portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the Roadmap: Work closely with Product Owners and peer engineers to contribute to the product roadmap.
- API and Interface Design: Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, as well as responsive user interfaces using NextJS and VueJS.
- Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement data pipelines, particularly using Python and Airflow, to ensure data is normalized, transformed, and published efficiently.
- Documentation: Contribute to and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Mentorship: Share your expertise with team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a full stack developer.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, NextJS, and VueJS. Experience with cloud engineering and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Software Craftsmanship: A strong understanding and commitment to software craftsmanship principles.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with designing data pipelines using Python and Airflow.
- Exposure to messaging middleware.
