Position Overview
Ambient.ai is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for our Cloud Platform team. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing highly available and fault-tolerant microservices for our AI/ML platform. You will be responsible for core infrastructure tasks, including collecting and processing large volumes of video streaming data and improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of all backend services.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices for AI/ML platforms.
- Manage core infrastructure for video data processing.
- Enhance performance and scalability of backend services.
- Design and own large features end-to-end.
Qualifications
- Experience in designing, building, and operating cloud-scale services.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous architectures.
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming Languages like Python, C++, Scala, Java, Golang.
- Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of APIs (REST, GraphQL) preferred.
