What You Will Do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

Tackle Complex Problems: Work on some of the hardest problems in software engineering, helping to scale our platform within a culture of engineering excellence.
Define Systems Architecture: Collaborate with our core team to define the systems architecture and engineering roadmap.
Build Foundational Components: Develop foundational components that power Augment, including data models and infrastructure for stream data processing, ML training, and graph manipulation.
Create Efficient APIs: Wrap complex systems in simple, extensible, and efficient APIs.
Take Ownership: Be empowered to make decisions and get things done, contributing to the growth and success of our platform.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking someone who:

Has 5+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in software engineering, particularly with distributed systems.
Is Proficient in Key Technologies: Expertise in Ruby, Python, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and the AWS ecosystem.
Thrives in Ambiguity: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
Is a Multi-Hat Engineer: Bonus points for experience in DevOps and AI/ML.
Communicates Clearly: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
