Tech Lead, Software Engineer, GenAI Fraud

About the Role

As a Tech Lead, Software Engineer focusing on GenAI Fraud at Scale AI, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to prevent fraud and abuse on our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain robust systems that protect our platform against potential fraud, cheating, and abuse, especially in the rapidly evolving GenAI landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Own large areas within our product: You will be responsible for building features end-to-end, including front-end, back-end, system design, debugging, and testing.
• Deliver high-quality experiments: Engage our customers by delivering experiments at a high velocity and level of quality.
• Influence product lifecycle: Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production.
• Mentor and inspire: Influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Define, design, and ship new product features and experiences.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience is preferred, particularly in risk prevention, machine learning, or analytical work.
• Track record: Proven track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
• Fast-paced environment: Desire to work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Location: Excited to join a dynamic, hybrid team in either San Francisco or New York City.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The salary range for this full-time position in San Francisco, New York, and Seattle is $188,000—$225,600 USD. In addition to salary, you will receive equity-based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, a learning and development stipend, and generous PTO. This role may also be eligible for additional benefits such as a commuter stipend.
