Join Our Team as a Web Engineer
Wealthfront is seeking talented Web Engineers to join our dynamic team. This role supports US-based remote work or a hybrid in-office setup in Palo Alto, CA. As a Web Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional scrum team, designing and developing new products and features to help our clients grow their wealth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with backend and mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to build and enhance features.
- Triage and Resolve operational issues, ensuring smooth operation of mission-critical web systems and services.
- Improve Infrastructure by working on web platform projects to enhance system health and performance.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers on the team.
- Recruitment: Participate in recruiting activities such as interviewing.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-6 years in a web engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of JavaScript, including ES5+, native DOM APIs, and at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular).
- Server-Side Frameworks: Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks (Express, Django) is a plus.
- Design Collaboration: Experience working with design teams to build custom pages and components, focusing on page speed performance and responsive design.
- Development Practices: Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $140,000 - $185,000 USD annually, plus equity and a discretionary bonus.
