Job Overview
As an AI Software Engineer at Zoom, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing AI algorithms and software applications. You will ensure that AI training, inference, deployment, and operation are functional, reliable, and scalable. This position is part of the AI infrastructure team, where you will develop and enhance AI-powered software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Implement AI solutions to solve complex problems in computer vision, natural language processing, and recommendation systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain AI algorithms, models, and software applications.
- Ensure software reliability and quality by participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Document code, algorithms, and technical processes for internal and external reference.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the AI and software engineering team.
Qualifications
- Advanced education in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated deep understanding and skill in software engineering, AI, or machine learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with deep learning, neural networks, and data preprocessing.
- Solid comprehension of AI concepts, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledgeable about software development best practices and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Compensation
- Salary range: $136,800 - $299,300 annually.
- Total Direct Compensation philosophy includes base salary, bonus, and equity value.
