Job Overview
As a Machine Learning Engineer on the GenAI Engineering team at Zoom, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Zoom's AI capabilities. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing AI algorithms and solutions for the AI Companion product. This role involves close collaboration with researchers and engineers to achieve groundbreaking results in AI technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Develop and optimize GenAI algorithms and solutions to tackle complex business challenges.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into scalable engineering solutions that align with business objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical presentations to ensure the quality and reliability of engineering solutions.
- Innovation: Identify opportunities for improvement in existing systems and propose innovative solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in GenAI research and engineering to continuously improve technical capabilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, or a related field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or CUDA, with experience in building scalable software systems.
- Frameworks: Understanding of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
- Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $122,200 - $244,500 annually.
- Total Compensation Philosophy: Includes base salary, bonus, and equity value.
Work Environment
- Remote Work: This position is remote, allowing flexibility in work location.
