Algo Developer with Python and C++

Job Description

As an Algo Developer at Hudson River Trading, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the models that drive our trading operations. This role involves applying rigorous statistical analysis to vast quantities of market and financial data to produce predictive trading models. You will run these models live on our high-performance trading infrastructure and analyze their daily performance to ensure ongoing profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain trading algorithms using advanced mathematical techniques.
Collaborate with fellow algo developers and core developers to research, develop, and test novel order execution and model training methods.
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to work creatively and independently on long-term technical problems.
Utilize your familiarity with the C++ programming language to enhance trading efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Quick learner with the ability to apply new skills effectively.

Compensation

Annual base salary range of $175,000 to $300,000.
Pay (base and bonus) may vary depending on job-related skills and experience.
A sign-on and discretionary performance bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package.
