Volue is seeking a talented Quantitative Developer to join our Volue Trading Advisory (VTA) team. About the Role
As a Quantitative Developer, you will be a key player in the development of our internal algorithmic trading platform. You will work closely with our team to bring new trading ideas to market quickly and enhance our trading solutions across various markets. Your focus will be on designing, developing, and testing our trading platform for short-term energy markets, as well as monitoring and improving the performance of live trading operations in customer portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, Develop, and Test: Work on our trading platform for short-term energy markets.
- Monitor and Improve: Enhance the performance of live trading operations in customer portfolios.
- Research and Development: Collaborate with the VTA team to further develop our research platform and trading strategies.
What You Need to Succeed
- Passion for Technology: A strong interest in software development and energy markets.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with developers and quants in fast iteration cycles.
- Technical Expertise: Experience in programming with C# (.NET Core) and SQL; Python is a plus.
- Software Engineering Best Practices: Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles, test-driven development, and version control with Git.
- DevOps and Cloud Computing: Experience with AWS and DevOps practices.
- Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English; German is beneficial.
