About the Role
Banking Circle is seeking a skilled Backend Developer specialized in C# and .NET Core to join our Direct Debit Operation team in Regensburg. Reporting to the Head of Direct Debit Operation, this role offers the opportunity to work on a high-volume payment system that supports large financial corporations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core.
- Utilize Microsoft Azure's serverless infrastructure, including Azure Functions and Azure Durable Functions.
- Design and implement database solutions and queries for SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our systems.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Collaborate closely with other developers through pair programming to implement new features and solve complex problems.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Conduct code reviews and continuously improve our codebase.
- Plan, estimate effort, implement, and document development tasks and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Software Engineering within C# and .NET Core.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of agile development processes and tools, such as Scrum and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions and Azure Durable Functions is beneficial.
