As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our digital book service, which serves over 1 million active users across 30 countries.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# and .NET.
Building new features and improving existing ones to enhance our product offering.
Participating in product development and contributing to architectural and technical decisions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Ensuring the performance and scalability of our microservices architecture deployed in Kubernetes.

What We Are Looking For

We believe you have:

At least 4 years of experience in backend development, preferably in a product company.
Strong proficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language.
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
A curious mindset and a willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Nice to Have

Experience with REST/gRPC, SOLID principles, and security best practices.
Knowledge of Docker, message-driven/event architecture, caching, and CDN.
Interest in AI and open-source contributions.
