About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a small, agile team focused on delivering high-quality solutions. You will work with external clearing schemes, ensuring 24/7 connectivity and high throughput processing. Our tech stack includes message queueing systems such as ServiceBus Topics, WebSphere MQ, and Active MQ, which serve as our communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop APIs and back-end solutions using C# on Microsoft Azure, including Azure SQL Database, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, and KeyVault.
- Apply good engineering practices with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Take technical responsibility for complex feature implementations.
- Critically assess and contribute to the improvement and maturation of our platform and ways of working.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, maintaining a high level of trust and recognition of the team's capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience in a similar position, particularly with .NET and Web APIs. Experience with backend solutions that process high-volume data with a focus on throughput and uptime is essential. Familiarity with performance-sensitive applications and caching strategies, both in-process and distributed, is also important.
While experience with Azure is a plus, it is not a requirement. We value proactivity, responsibility, and a quality-oriented mindset. Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and the courage to try new things are essential. Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing, is required.
