Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at LichtBlick SE. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for implementing services using modern C# and .NET frameworks that support GraphQL and REST APIs. These services will run on globally available cloud infrastructure provided by Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Implementation: Develop and implement backend services using C# and .NET frameworks.
- API Development: Build and integrate both your own and third-party APIs.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize Microsoft Azure for cloud infrastructure, including setup and monitoring.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Support CI/CD pipeline implementations using Azure Pipelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with frontend engineers, product owners, and QA engineers within a cross-functional product development team.
- Software Lifecycle Management: Take end-to-end responsibility for the software lifecycle, including design, programming, code reviews, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Mentorship: Provide support and mentorship within the backend team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a software-related field such as data analytics, computer science, or a comparable discipline.
- Experience: Over five years of industry experience in backend development.
- Technical Skills: Profound expertise in C# and .NET, with experience in using Microsoft-provided and community-driven NuGet packages and frameworks.
- Database Skills: Skilled in using database technologies, with PostgreSQL as the preferred choice.
- DevOps Skills: Strong understanding of Azure Pipelines and Docker.
- Testing Skills: Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and xUnit.
