Job Overview
Join the LEGO Group as a Backend Software Engineer in our Irvine, CA office, where you will be a vital part of our BrickLink team. This role involves developing IT solutions that drive our product vision and optimize daily operations. You will engage in all stages of the development process, from refinement through implementation, testing, delivery, and deployment, ensuring high-quality software solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop IT solutions to drive the product towards the vision, as well as run and optimize daily operations.
- Participate in technical sparring and mentoring with other software engineers.
- Engage in continuous learning and experimentation within an agile framework.
What We Expect From You
- 2+ years of experience with C# on the .NET framework / .NET Core.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud-based platforms.
- Proficiency in databases, both relational and NoSQL.
- Ability to design and expose quality APIs.
- Experience in e-commerce/marketplace services and implementing global tax compliances.
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design and building loosely coupled systems.
- Familiarity with Cloud native development, infrastructure as code, and managed cloud infrastructure (e.g., DNS, CDN, Load balancing).
- Awareness of the OWASP top 10 risks for Web applications and mitigation strategies.
