About the Role
Join Toast, a leading fintech company, as a Backend Software Engineer II in our Dublin office. This role is pivotal in processing credit card payments for restaurants, a critical source of revenue for both Toast and our clients. You will be part of a team that designs, builds, deploys, and maintains highly resilient and scalable systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable systems using Java and Kotlin.
- Maintain and optimize existing systems to meet future demands.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations.
- Investigate and solve payment processing issues to enhance customer experience.
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages.
