Role Description
We are seeking a Biotechnology Research Scientist who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of drug discovery using cutting-edge technologies. This role involves working on our Mosaic platform to build the world’s largest in vivo atlas of drug interactions with patient cells. You will be involved in training AI models on this data to identify novel drug targets and compounds that are undetectable by other methods.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-throughput synthetic lethal oncology genomics screens.
- Validate targets and investigate mechanisms using tissue culture, single-cell sample preparation, and laboratory automation.
- Apply machine learning techniques to genomics data and cheminformatics.
- Perform biochemical assays for target validation and mechanistic investigation.
- Develop small molecule drugs in the field of oncology.
Qualifications
- Strong background in single-cell bioinformatics, genomics data analysis, and cheminformatics.
- Experience with laboratory automation and biochemical assays.
- Knowledge of medicinal chemistry, particularly in oncology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team.
