Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Manager to lead our Carbon Capture venture. This role is crucial as we expand our efforts in enzymatic carbon capture, a key component in addressing climate change. You will work closely with the Venture Lead to commercialize and scale our carbon capture solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical development and laboratory work for the Carbon Capture venture.
- Conduct technical assessments of biotech concepts for capturing carbon dioxide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to execute venture strategies.
- Represent Novonesis at external events to promote biotechnology solutions.
- Mentor team members and support their professional development.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. or PhD in chemical or bioprocess engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in research and development, preferably with industrial applications of enzymes or chemical catalysts.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency in design of experiments and statistical analysis.
- Ability to plan and coordinate laboratory work independently.
- Professional level of English is required.
Location
This position is based at the Novonesis Innovation Campus in Lyngby, Denmark.
