Role Overview

As a Senior Associate - Search and Evaluation, you will play a critical role in our drug discovery business unit. You will be responsible for performing market landscaping analyses for drug discovery pipelines, reviewing research papers and clinical trial readouts, and making investment recommendations for drug targets. This role requires a strong biological thesis to identify how we can win in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market landscaping analyses for various drug discovery pipelines.
• Review and analyze research papers and clinical trial readouts.
• Make investment recommendations for drug targets with a strong biological thesis.
• Assist with strategic and operational tasks for the drug discovery business unit.
• Manage end-to-end projects with input from key stakeholders.
• Contribute as a thought partner, helping set firm direction and brainstorming across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in evaluating therapeutic assets, such as in biotech equity research, venture capital, or search and evaluation roles.
• Post-graduate degree in a scientific field is strongly preferred (MS, PhD, PharmD).
• Experience in financial modeling is preferred.
• Ability to interpret pre-clinical and clinical trial results.
• Previous roles in the biotech industry are strongly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in a startup environment are preferred.
• Deeply analytical, systems thinker focused on finding scalable solutions.
