Responsibilities
- Manage and Maintain IT Infrastructure: Oversee company IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Automate Deployment Processes: Implement automation for deployment, monitoring, and scalability of applications.
- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to ensure a stable and secure development and production environment.
- Implement Security Policies: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies.
- Optimize System Performance: Enhance system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Manage and monitor backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in system administration, DevOps, or similar roles.
- Operating Systems: Deep knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Web Servers: Familiarity with Apache and NGINX.
- CI/CD Processes: Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Automation Tools: Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Nagios, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
- Teamwork and Communication: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
