Job Overview
Centric Belgium is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our advanced cloud engineering team. This role is crucial for collaborating with application teams to build and manage pipelines using GitHub, which are essential for deploying infrastructure on both Azure and AWS environments. The position involves working on internal projects aimed at optimizing and streamlining processes and automation for configuring and managing multiple repositories and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Development and Management
- Design, build, and maintain pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Ensure pipelines are capable of deploying infrastructure on Azure and AWS using Terraform modules.
- Maintain compliance with internal security standards.
Process Optimization and Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline the configuration and management of repositories and pipelines.
- Implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
Runner Management Standardization (Optional)
- Participate in the standardization of runner management across cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and on-premise environments, if expertise is available.
What You Bring to the Team
- Proficiency in GitHub, including project administration and building pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
- Experience in deploying infrastructure on these platforms using Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
- Competence in Bash scripting for Unix-based systems.
- Familiarity with internal security standards and the ability to ensure pipelines and deployments adhere to these standards.
- Experience in runner management and standardization for both cloud and on-premise environments.
