Join Our Team as a Cloud Engineer
Nevis Security is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team in Budapest, Hungary. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and expanding our Kubernetes-based offerings, helping us reach new markets and strengthen our position as a leader in digital security.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Development: Utilize cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes and Docker to build robust infrastructure for Identity and Access Management products.
- Security Implementation: Design and implement security measures to protect cloud resources and data, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex issues related to Kubernetes-based infrastructure, network connectivity, and application performance, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough performance and capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks and implement scalability measures.
- Cost Optimization: Optimize cloud-based applications and services for cost efficiency, identifying opportunities for resource optimization and implementing cost-saving strategies.
- Integration: Work on all layers (infrastructure as code, automation, monitoring) using open source and Azure components and open standards.
- Technology Integration: Integrate new components and technologies into existing software systems and architectures.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in cloud-native development and operation, especially in Azure.
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Cloud (Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD frameworks (GitHub Actions is a plus).
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Education: A university degree (MSc/BSc) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent solid work experience.
- Language: Fluency in English.
