Your Role at ITQ

As a Platform Engineer at ITQ, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced platforms based on cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes. Your tasks will include setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest developments in cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices to continuously contribute to improvement and optimization.

Responsibilities and Technologies

• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with infrastructure (Compute, Network, Storage, Cloud Management).
• Preferably experienced with VMware infrastructure and/or one of the hyperscale cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) infrastructure portfolios.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding and ideally some practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Possession of or willingness to quickly obtain CKA or CKAD certifications.
• Active involvement in process automation and familiarity with at least one scripting language.
• Some familiarity with the Open-Source community, especially the CNCF landscape of projects like Kubernetes and associated tools.
• Experience with using git and understanding the fundamental principles of GitOps.

• Preferably some experience in IT in customer-oriented environments.
• Strong social, advisory, and communication skills, proficient in both Dutch and English.
