Your Role at ITQ

As a Platform Engineer at ITQ, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced platforms based on cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes. Your tasks will include setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest developments in cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices to continuously contribute to improvement and optimization.

Responsibilities and Technologies

Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux system administration.
Familiarity with infrastructure (Compute, Network, Storage, Cloud Management).
Preferably experience with VMware infrastructure and/or one of the hyperscale cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) infrastructure portfolios, and possibly automating cloud infrastructure with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Understanding and ideally some practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
Possession of or willingness to quickly obtain CKA or CKAD certifications.
Active involvement in process automation and familiarity with at least one scripting language.
Some familiarity with the Open-Source community, especially the CNCF landscape of projects like Kubernetes and associated projects such as networking tools for overlay, ingress, and load-balancing.
Experience with using git and understanding the fundamental principles of GitOps.
