About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of our data team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data platform architecture. Your work will empower our business intelligence and enable real-time analytics use cases. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that drive our company's technical architecture and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain our data platform architecture to support business intelligence.
- Develop a scalable event streaming infrastructure for real-time analytics.
- Model data in our BigQuery data warehouse using dbt.
- Implement DataOps practices by building robust testing coverage and CI/CD pipelines.
- Govern data architecture to ensure robust data flows and high availability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and build effective solutions.

- Data Warehouse: Google BigQuery
- Data Modeling: dbt
- Data Visualization: Looker, Count
- Orchestration: Airflow
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (Kinesis, S3, Lambda), GCP (PubSub, CloudFunctions)

- Additional Tools: Kubernetes, ChatGPT/CoPilot
Experience and Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analysis, or a similar field.
- MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, dbt, Python, and Airflow.
- Experience with ELT techniques and data warehouses.
- Familiarity with AWS/GCP and event-bus technologies like Kinesis/PubSub.
- Experience in fintech or with digital products is a plus.
- Experience with ML and ML Ops, and Kubernetes is appreciated.
