About the Role
Qover is seeking a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic data team in Brussels. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining scalable and clean data solutions to support the launch and execution of our insurance programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve our dbt data pipelines.
- Propose and implement a robust data model for insurance data.
- Automate operational reports to reduce manual work.
- Navigate and manage data in our BigQuery data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain dashboard front-ends using Looker and Looker Studio.
- Ensure data security and privacy.
- Collaborate with business teams to define key metrics.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, and complex joins.
- Experience with data modeling and dbt.
- Proficiency in Looker.
- Familiarity with the modern data stack, including Python, git, and bash.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Autonomous and proactive work style.
