We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gothenburg, Sweden.
About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer at Eliq, you will play a crucial role in advancing our data platform, which is built on Databricks. You will be responsible for ensuring our data infrastructure is efficient, fast, and reliable. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to define Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and deliver value in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain our data platform to ensure it meets the needs of our growing business.
- Work closely with the team to define and achieve data engineering goals.
- Share best practices and mentor other engineers in data engineering techniques.
- Take on team lead responsibilities as the data engineering function expands.
Who You Are
You are a proactive and pragmatic problem solver with at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, particularly on the Azure cloud. You have a proven track record of building and architecting data platforms that make data accessible across organizations. You are fluent in SQL, Python, and Scala, and have a good grasp of Azure infrastructure management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering on Azure Cloud.
- Experience with ETL processes in Azure environments.
- Proficiency in developing Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Nice to Have
- Azure Data Engineering Associate certification.
- Experience with Databricks and designing Data Lakehouse solutions.
