Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our international team in Amsterdam. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and scaling data pipelines with a strong emphasis on data quality. You will be responsible for executing technical tasks within the data management scope, building internal tools and infrastructure, and contributing to user-facing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure high data quality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build tools and infrastructure.
- Focus on data quality and scaling of data pipelines.
- Utilize tools such as PySpark, Snowflake, Airflow, and AWS for data engineering tasks.
- Participate in the execution of technical tasks related to data management.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in data engineering and data pipeline development.
- Strong knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Experience with big data technologies and data quality management.
- Familiarity with PySpark, Snowflake, Airflow, and AWS.
- Knowledge of Hadoop and data governance frameworks is a plus.
Contract Details
- Location: Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 12 months with an option to extend
- Workplace Type: On-site with 2 days in the office
- Hourly Rate: €85 per hour
