About the Role
The Business Applications & Platform organization at Microsoft is at the forefront of digital transformation, developing innovative solutions that leverage data and AI to revolutionize business applications. As a Data Scientist II on the Dataverse core platform team, you will work closely with business and AI leaders, internal users, and partners to develop AI/ML solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of applied scientists and software engineers to implement AI features across the Dynamics 365 product portfolio.
- Develop extensive knowledge in Large Language Models and contribute to product development by staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Assess business needs and integrate research to achieve strategic objectives.
- Guide the selection of data and design AI applications to drive business results.
- Record and share experimental findings to foster innovation.
- Evaluate model effectiveness and collaborate with product teams to design AI-driven experiences.
- Mentor new team members and provide technical guidance to fellow scientists.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of technical engineering experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Preferred
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of experience.
- Publication track record at top conferences like ACL, EMNLP, SIGKDD, etc.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
