The One Engineering System (1ES) team at Microsoft's Cloud and AI division is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence Microsoft's internal engineering practices and set a precedent within the wider industry. As part of the CloudMine data mining framework team, you will contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing developer productivity, compliance, and security by providing essential raw data.

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Development: Improve, fine-tune, and design the next version of the CloudMine data mining framework, which is integral to numerous data-driven projects.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with engineering stakeholders to determine user requirements and validate work streams.
• Code Implementation: Create and implement code for products, services, or features, reusing code as applicable.
• System Monitoring: Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of new industry trends, technical solutions, and best practices to enhance product availability, reliability, and performance.
• Data Manipulation: Employ advanced data manipulation techniques to transform raw data into formats suitable for analysis, reporting, and integration with other data systems.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to resolve issues, reduce the incidence of failures, and improve overall system stability.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or Java.

Preferred

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience with Azure DevOps API consumptions.
• Experience in data mining.
