Overview
Join Microsoft's Health and Life Sciences team as a Senior Applied Data Scientist, where you will have the opportunity to impact the healthcare industry by expanding our Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) product to international markets. This role involves leveraging your expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop state-of-the-art clinical summarization technologies.
Responsibilities
- Broad Understanding of Machine Learning: Demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of machine learning concepts and their applications in real-world scenarios.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with product leaders, researchers, and engineers to innovate and implement advanced solutions.
- Language and Clinical Documentation: Utilize your language skills and understanding of clinical documentation to create high-quality clinical summaries for European markets.
- Data Analysis and Model Training: Engage in rigorous data analysis and prepare data for model training, ensuring high standards of data quality.
Qualifications
- Doctorate in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in NLP and generative AI technologies
- Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: French, German, or Dutch
Preferred Skills
- Experience in medical text analytics and clinical information retrieval.
- Familiarity with text summarization and text generation technologies.
