Are you ready to contribute to the sustainable and digital transformation at Ramboll? We are looking for a Digital Expert to join our team in Berlin, Germany. If you have a passion for making the public and non-profit sectors smarter and want to use your technical skills for modern administration and societal benefit, this role is for you.

Your Role

As a Digital Expert, you will work on various projects and transformation topics with our teams. You will have the freedom to independently develop and implement technical solutions, turning public client requirements into prototypes with creativity and innovation. Supported by an experienced consulting team, your role will be tailored to your skills, experiences, talents, and interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement interactive dashboards for data visualization and management of administrative processes.
• Design and develop web-based applications, including responsive design and UX.
• Create and program chatbots to support customer service and support.
• Drive the development, integration, configuration, and management of digital workflow and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) systems for process efficiency.
• Advise on the implementation of Online Access Act (OZG) services and execute Efa solutions.
• Provide IT security consulting and requirements management for our clients, from application level to infrastructure and network security.
• Lead a team of developers for the described tasks and strategically develop our digital business area, if you have the experience or interest.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with CMS like Typo3.
• Competence in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, and R for complex data analysis and robust application development.
• Experience with SQL for effective data manipulation and database queries.
• Ability to build databases and work with tools like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL, and create Docker containers for seamless and scalable integration.
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies like Tailwind and Svelte for creating sleek and responsive user interfaces.
• Use FastAPI for fast and error-free API development, e.g., with MySQL for solid database-based applications.
• Willingness to use existing solutions compatible with client requirements, including creating intuitive applications from Excel and Access.

Requirements

• Completed university degree (Bachelor and/or Master) in computer science or a similar field.
• Initiative and enthusiasm for independent, creative, and structured work.
• Enjoy working in a team and engaging in varied project activities.
• Good to very good German and English skills.
• Professional experience in consulting or the public sector and understanding of public and/or non-profit sector challenges is a plus.

• A 37.5-hour work week, 30 days of vacation plus company holidays on December 24th and 31st.
